Emotional Bankruptcy.

These are the illustrations for F. Scott Fitzgerald's story Emotional Bankruptcy, published by Editorial Metropolisiana in Spain. They gave me complete freedom to choose the text on which I was going to work. After reading many stories from different periods and authors, I found a couple of Fitzgerald stories that could be complementary and also offered me the opportunity to develop some visual metaphors throughout the book. First was The Rich Boy, and the second one was this Emotional Bankruptcy. A young woman flirting with lots of men, feels that she is empty for love when she finally finds the man she was looking for.
